Rahul Khanna and Anjali Sharma were best friends at college. Anjali realizes that she has fallen for Rahul but she's too late because Rahul has already fallen for Tina Malhotra. Heartbroken, Anjali leaves the city. Tina and Rahul get married and soon Tina becomes pregnant, giving birth to a daughter which they call Anjali. Due to complications during pregnancy, Tina passes away. Anjali is brought up by her father, and each year on her birthday he allows his daughter to read one of her mother's letters. Through these letters she learns that her mother (Tina) knew that another Anjali was in love with Rahul, and vows to bring them together again. Written by Soumitra

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, is the story of Rahul and Anjali. Both of them students at St. Xavier's College. Anjali being a tomboy gets along very well with Rahul and the other boys. Rahul and Anjali are also the best of friends. Being so close to each other, Rahul and Anjali would probably have fallen in love, however they were too busy enjoying themselves being best buddies! And then Tina (Ranee Mukherjee) the Principal's daughter came into their lives. For Anjali, Tina was a third member of their gang, however, for Rahul, his life was never the same after meeting her. He fell in love with Tina. Anjali was finally beginning to fall in love with Rahul, and when she finally does manage to sum up the courage to tell Rahul about her feelings, Rahul tells her in his usual friendly manner, that he is falling in love with Tina. Totally oblivious to him, he broke her heart. Broken hearted Anjali decides to leave the college mid-term making up an excuse. It is at this point that Tina's suspicions come true.  Anjali Sharma (Kajol)is a tomboy, and is very friendly with the local casanova Rahul Khanna (Shahrukh Khan). She thinks that Rahul will eventually fall in love and marry her. Things seem to be going according to plan, then Tina Malhotra (Rani Mukherji) enters their lives, and Rahul falls head-over-heels in love with her, and marries her. This breaks Anjali's heart and she leaves to go and settle far away. The marriage of Rahul and Tina results in the birth of baby Anjali (Sana Saeed), and due to complications following the birth, Tina loses a lot of blood and passes away, leaving Rahul devastated. Anjali Khanna grows up, and finds out that her mom had left her some letters to read, and she does so, and finds out that her dad may have been in love with Anjali instead without realizing it. She then makes attempts to make both of them meet again. She does locate Anjali, only to find out that she is to marry Aman Mehra (Salman Khan) shortly, and Rahul and the heartbreak she suffered is history. Written by rAjOo

Film ‘CHORI CHORI CHUPKE CHUPKE’, mengangkat kisah perempuan India yang rela menyewakan rahimnya demi uang. Sementara di pihak lain juga menginginkan keturunan setelah kegagalan mendapatkan keturunan. Film yang dibintangi Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta dan Amrish Puru ini semakin haru saat anak yang sang bayi menjadi rebutan.

Berawal dari kisah Sepulang bulan madu, pasangan Raj Malhotra dan Priya makin diliputi perasaan bahagia. Priya dinyatakan hamil. Kakek Raj dan ayah Raj tidak kalah bahagia, karena mereka memang sangat mengharapkan adanya pewaris kerajaan bisnis keluarga Raj.

Sayang, Tuhan rupanya berkehendak lain. Priya mengalami keguguran sewaktu bermain kriket. Perempuan itu bertambah syok, tatkala mengetahui kalau rahimnya harus diangkat karena infeksi. Karena takut mengecewakan keluarga besar mereka, Raj dan Priya sepakat tidak menceritakan peristiwa tersebut.

Hingga suatu saat, Priya mempunyai ide, menyewa rahim wanita lain untuk mengandung dan melahirkan bayi mereka. Wanita yang dipilih adalah Madhubala, seorang pelacur cantik dari kota Mumbai, India. Dengan imbalan sejumlah uang yang cukup menggiurkan, Madhu pun menyanggupi permintaan yang tidak lazim pasangan Raj dan Priya. Agar rencana tersebut berjalan mulus, mereka membawa Madhu ke Swiss.

 Tapi, siapa yang dapat menebak hati seorang wanita? Naluri keibuan Madhu timbul tatkala kandungannya semakin membesar. Ia ingin membuka lembaran baru kehidupannya, dan berniat meninggalkan profesi lamanya. Madhu bahagia karena akan menjadi seorang ibu. Ia juga jatuh cinta pada Raj, dan berharap menjadi istri sah Raj. Hal itu tentu saja membuat Raj bingung karena Priya seolah-olah “memberi angin” pada Madhu.

   DIL HAI TUMHARA

 Dil Hai Tumhaara (Hindi: दिल है तुम्हारा, Urdu: دل ہے تمہارا, English: My Heart Is Yours) is a 2002 Bollywood romantic comedy and family film starring Rekha, Preity Zinta, Mahima Chaudhry, Arjun Rampal, Jimmy Shergill and Alok Nath.

The film revolves around the character of Shalu (Preity Zinta) and her relationships with her mother, Saritaji (Rekha), and sister, Nimmi (Mahima Chaudhary). Unknown to the two girls, Shalu and Nimmi are only half-sisters, as Shalu is the daughter of Saritaji's late husband with the woman he had been having an affair with. Wounded in a car accident with the other woman, he begged Saritaji on his death bed to accept Shalu. Although Saritaji adopted Shalu, she has given her none of the love that she has shown to her real daughter, Nimmi; Shalu's hidden parentage is the main factor that causes Saritaji to openly pay more affection to her own daughter while ignoring Shalu.

Shalu, on the other hand, loves Saritaji, whom she believes is her own mother. She constantly craves her mother's affection but does not get it, so she retaliates by being rebellious, as that is the only way to get her mother's attention. Unlike their mother, Nimmi loves her sister very much, and constantly stands up for Shalu, though she refuses to think ill will of Saritaji.

Eventually a young man named Dev Khanna (Arjun Rampal) enters both their lives. Dev and Shalu initially do not get along but soon fall in love. However, circumstances make Nimmi believe that Dev is in love with her, not Shalu. Her mother, only aware of Nimmi's side of the story, offers a marriage proposal to Dev's father (Alok Nath) on Nimmi's behalf. When Saritaji sees Dev and Shalu being affectionate, she jumps to the conclusion that Shalu has stolen Dev from Nimmi, just as Shalu's mother stole Saritaji's husband from her. Saritaji confronts Shalu in anger and reveals her true heritage in front of Nimmi.

Shalu, who has long craved her mother's love, decides to sacrifice Dev in order to make her beloved mother and sister happy. When Dev learns of this situation from Shalu, he is confused and dismayed, but agrees to marry Nimmi in order to make Shalu happy. When Nimmi notices that something is wrong with Shalu, Shalu deflects the question by saying that she has fallen in love with Samir (Jimmy Shergill), her childhood best friend who has been in love with her for years.

On the engagement day, Saritaji's political rivals try to use Shalu's secret illegitimate heritage to threaten Nimmi's marriage to Dev, who is in a prominent family. Shalu takes matters into her own hands, and she rushes to Dev's house where she publicly announces to Dev's entire family that she is illegitimate, arguing that it is proof of Saritaji's kindness and generosity that Shalu was adopted into her family, and it would be an injustice if the marriage were cancelled solely because of her. Dev's father is impressed with Shalu's courage, and promises that nothing will stop this marriage from taking place.

Saritaji secretly witnesses Shalu's confession and is deeply touched. She is ashamed of how she has treated Shalu in the past, and they share their first hug together. Saritaji tells her that she will ask Nimmi to step aside if Shalu and Dev are really in love, but Shalu stops her from doing so, saying that now she has her mother's love and acceptance, she does not want anything else.
Nimmi is very happy that her mother has accepted Shalu but she still feels that something is not quite right with her sister. She soon learns from Samir of the whole ruse, and gladly steps aside in order for Shalu and Dev to be together.

   KABHI KUSHI KABHI GAM  (K3G)
















Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (Hindi: कभी ख़ुशी कभी ग़म... translation: Sometimes Happiness, Sometimes Sadness) is a Bollywood film released in India and countries with large NRI populations on 14 December 2001.
It features Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in a guest appearance. It is director Karan Johar's second movie (after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai).

 Rahul (Shahrukh Khan) is the adopted son of Yashvardhan "Yash" Raichand (Amitabh Bachchan) and his wife Nandini (Jaya Bachchan). Their biological son, Rohan, is younger than Rahul by nine years. Yash is a rich and famous business man in India. He believes in keeping traditions, and is against love marriages. When Rahul returns home from his overseas university, however, he meets and falls in love with a poor girl from the Chandni Chowk region of Delhi named Anjali (Kajol). Meanwhile, Rohan befriends Pooja, Anjali's younger sister.

Yash decides to arrange Rahul's marriage to his friend's daughter, Naina (Rani Mukerji). Rahul, however, tells his father that he wants to marry Anjali; this angers Yash, who berates Rahul for not considering Anjali's social status. Rahul apologizes to Yash and promises to do whatever is asked of him. He goes to tell Anjali that he cannot marry her, only to find that her father has died suddenly. After seeing that Anjali and Pooja have no other family, he marries Anjali on the spot. When he brings her home, his enraged father disowns him, and says that, because he is adopted and not of Raichand blood originally, he did such an act. Rahul, shocked and hurt, shares an emotional goodbye with his mother; Nandini asks Rahul's and Rohan's nanny, Sayeeda (Farida Jalal), to accompany Rahul wherever he goes so that he will always have a mother's love and care. After visiting Rohan at boarding school for the last time, he leaves with Anjali, Pooja, and Sayeeda.

Rohan (played by Hrithik Roshan as an adult) is devastated by the split in the family, but has never learned why Rahul left because Rahul had made him promise never to ask. Ten years later, on his way home for the holidays, he stops to meet his maternal and paternal grandmothers and overhears them discussing the split; upon confrontation, they tell him the whole truth. When he goes to his parents' home, he learns from a few friends of Anjali's that Rahul and Anjali have settled down in London. Vowing to bring Rahul and Anjali home, Rohan tells his parents that he wants to go to London to study; Yash reluctantly agrees. As soon as he arrives in London, he tracks Rahul down and learns his address. He enrolls at the university and finds that Pooja (Kareena Kapoor) happens to be a student there. He tells her who he is and asks her to help him bring the family back together.

Meanwhile, Rahul has started his own business and is living comfortably with Anjali and their nine-year-old son, Krish, along with Pooja and Sayeeda. Pooja tells everyone that Rohan is her best friend's brother who has come from India and needs a place to stay. Rahul and Anjali welcome him (grudgingly, on Rahul's part), and Rohan soon becomes a part of the family without revealing who he is. He reminds Rahul and Anjali of how much they miss India and their parents, drawing pangs of guilt in Rahul. Slowly, the truth comes out and he tries to convince Rahul to go back to India. He even goes so far as to convince Yash and Nandini to come to London with the hope that Yash will reunite with Rahul. His plan fails, but Rahul and Nandini share a joyful reunion. At this point Anjali, too, attempts to persuade Rahul to go back to India and reconcile with his father. Rahul, convinced that his father does not love him and wants nothing to do with him, remains adamant until they learn that Yash's mother has died, and that her last wish was for Rahul, Yash, and Rohan to light her funeral pyre together. Rahul goes back to India, but participates in the funeral without speaking to his father.

Nandini confronts Yash and tells him, for the first time in ten years, that he was wrong in cutting ties with Rahul, whom he had brought into their home with such love and happiness. This leaves Yash stunned, and at odds with himself. Rohan finally manages to convince Rahul to visit home for Nandini's sake. They go with Anjali and Pooja, and find Yash humbled and sad. Yash apologizes to Rahul and berates him for believing that his father did not love him and for not returning home sooner.

Things end happily, with Rohan and Pooja's wedding and a belated celebration of Rahul and Anjali's wedding.

Film “Chalte Chalte” ini dibuka dengan adegan sekelompok kawula muda sedang mendiskusikan kisah cinta karena salah satunya mau bertunangan. Pasangan kekasih dari kelompok tersebut mulai berkisah tentang kisah cinta Raj dan Priya. Alkisah Raj adalah seorang pria yang memiliki perusahaan angkutan truk yang suka terjun ke lapangan mengemudi truknya.

Pada suatu malam Raj bertemu dengan Priya (Rani Mukherjee) setelah hampir saja mereka mengalami kecelakaan ketika Raj mengemudi truknya ke sebuah stasiun. Walau Priya yang berprofesi perancang busana sempat merasa sebal padanya, Raj langsung terpesona dan jatuh cinta pada pandangan pertama. Walau ada perbedaan kontras antara Raj dan Priya baik status sosial maupun kepribadian, toh akhirnya mereka bisa bersahabat baik. Namun Priya berusaha menolak cinta Raj hingga mereka berpisah. Raj yang sudah mabuk kepayang berusaha menemukan kembali Priya karena tidak mau gadis itu pergi dari hidupnya.

Ketika berhasil menemukan Priya, Raj harus menelan kekecewaannya lantaran Priya ternyata telah berjanji untuk menikah dengan teman semasa kecilnya, Sameer (Jas Arora) yang perjodohannya diatur oleh keluarga Priya di Athena, Yunani, tempat tinggal Priya dan keluarganya selama ini. Tidak tega melihat kekecewaan Raj, keluarga Raj mendorongnya untuk terbang melalui samudera dan benua ke Athena untuk merebut cinta Priya. Sesampainya di Athena, Raj tanpa membuang waktu untuk menyakinkan dirinya pria tepat bagi Priya. Akhirnya Priya menyadari dirinya mencintai Raj sehingga membatalkan pernikahannya agar bisa menikahi Raj.

Sebagaimana pasangan pengantin baru, hidup Raj dan Priya pun dipenuhi dengan kebahagiaan. Sayangnya mereka adalah manusia biasa yang juga punya kelemahan. Cinta yang semula manis pun mulai berubah menjadi kelabu ketika perbedaan diantara mereka makin menonjol. Tiada hari tanpa pertengkaran, yang bisa saja disebabkan hal sepele belaka. Walau begitu, Raj dan Priya tetap saling mencintai. Bahkan pertengkaran pun bisa menjadi bumbu perekat cinta mereka. Sayangnya datanglah musibah yang akan mengubah hidup mereka secara drastis. Perusahaan angkutan truk Raj mengalami kebangkrutan dan Raj hanya diberi waktu sepekan untuk membayar utang sebesar 35 laks pada bank.

Padahal kebangkrutan bukan kesalahan Raj, melainkan tanggungjawab mitra bisnisnya. Namun Raj hanya bisa pasrah mendapat musibah dan berencana menjual semua truk dan kantornya untuk menutupi utangnya. Pada saat krisis itulah, Priya menyodorkan cek sebesar 25 laks pada Raj agar bisa menutupi utang sementara pada bank. Priya mengaku cek itu berasal dari bisnis rancangan busana Priya di Athena. Padahal sebenarnya cek itu merupakan pinjaman Priya dari Sameer, mantan tunangan Priya yang gagal menyuntingnya. Ketika akhirnya mengetahui persoalan sebenarnya, Raj murka dan harga dirinya merasa dilecehkan. Pertengkaran hebat pun terjadi dan puncaknya mereka berpisah. Priya pergi dari rumah untuk tinggal bersama sahabatnya.

Apa yang akan dilakukan Raj setelah Priya pergi dari sisinya ? Bagaimana Priya dan Raj harus melalui hari-hari mereka tanpa ada orang yang dicintainya di sisinya ? Akankah Priya menoleh pada Sameer yang lebih sukses daripada Raj ?
